Well.. I broke my commitment to post more again but here we are..

It has been over a year and a half since I put out the last release but development always continued. There were some longer breaks when life kicked in but I am in it for the long haul! The game is now in a state for some beta testing and with the requisite bug fixes, some more polish and maybe a few more goodies, I plan to release it on Steam in around 3 months! That will also give me time to figure out the hardest part for me.. marketing..

My biggest excuse for not posting or releasing is that I wanted the next release to be something significant. In my mind that was mostly just adding the new map but in reality the game just didn't seem right without adding or fixing so many things. With over 250 commits since the last release a changelog would be way too long!

  • Here is a quick summary of the major things that were added:
  • A new map with new locations, challenges, NPCs and quests.
  • A complete storyline with ending.
  • New puzzle match variants. (player vs CPU, recipe/order completion, clear all gem types)
  • New obstacles in matches.
  • Upgradable abilities to use in matches.
  • New items, gems and recipes.
  • Stores, a bank, housing (get bonuses and more inventory space)
  • Lots of gameplay tweaks and fixes.
  • Filled in the UI more
  • A better intro tutorial.

I am sure I missed more updates but I hope you will check it out and enjoy it! Right now you can play through the whole game free with the web, Windows and iOS (TestFlight beta) versions!
